Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Quality Technician I I . This role ensures the quality of industrial processes, materials, and products. Under general supervision, the position will be responsible for inspecting, training, directing repairs, and maintaining quality levels. Location:

In office, Owatonna, MN

Shift:

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

What you will do:Understand and adhere to company Quality Control procedures, as related to overall inspection requirementsCooperate with production personnel and supervision to ensure the maximum of production with the optimum of quality, as established by managementInspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing material, parts, and assemblies to specifications and blueprints following standard shop practice and/or special instructions.Train other employees in day-to-day proceduresUtilize quality tools such as Fishbone Diagram, 3 Legged 5 Why, and 8D methodologySupport and participate in the quality clinic activitiesDetermine controls necessary to maintain consistent quality levelDispose of rejected materialDirect repairs and deviated corrections as requiredGenerate inspection reports and analysisOther duties as assignedWhat's in it for you:

High School diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing/ Operations or related fieldWork visa sponsorship is not available for this positionPreferred Qualifications:

Vocational or Technical degree in Quality Assurance or related field3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing/ Operations or related field
