Registered Nurse (RN) - CCU CWR

Weekly Pay Range - $2164 To $2404 Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Critical Care Unit Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Every Other Weekend Required, Holidays as Needed, No On Call Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 per week Experience: 2+ years of ICU/CCU experience required; Med/Surg experience required License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: - BLS-AHA- ACLS-AHA- NIHSS certification (required, can be obtained before start) Must-Have: - Strong experience in critical care and med/surg- Knowledge of complex cardiac care preferred (e.g., balloon pumps)- Highly reliable and flexible with work schedule- Must be able to float to any unit in the hospital, including MedSurg, Tele, and Step Down units- CCRN preferred Job Description: - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patients' needs- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients through initial and ongoing assessments- Initiate assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions- Manage care of patients- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
