Weekly Pay Range - $2164 To $2404 Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Telemetry - OB-Float Job Duration: 13-week contract Shift: 7:00 pm - 7:30 am, 3x12-hour shifts, every other weekend commitment Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience required License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: BLS-AHA and Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam Must-Have: - Proficiency in providing patient care in a Telemetry setting- Strong communication skills in English (read, write, speak) Job Description: - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for patients through initial and ongoing assessments.- Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
