Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Tele CWR

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Med Surg/Tele Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Neuro Step Down Unit, Med Surg/Tele, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts, Every Other Weekend Required, Holidays Required when Needed Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience in a MS/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting required. License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: BLS must be AHA Must-Have: - Strong MS/Tele background- Ability to float, including ED for admitted patients holding Job Description: - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patients' needs.- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for patients through initial and ongoing assessments.- Initiate assessments based on patients' problems or needs, physicians' medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.- Manage care of patients.- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
