Overview of the role: Accounts Receivable & Cash Applications

• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and monthly aging reports
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Monitoring/tracking outstanding account balances
• Assist with month-end closing procedures
• Managing vendor relationships and resolve billing questions
• Research and investigate revenue/AR discrepancies to ensure items are coded, processed, and recorded accurately and timely.
• Analyze and process revenue transactions on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Prepare and enter adjusting journal entries.

Preferred Qualifications: Accounts Receivable & Cash Applications

• Ability to communicate effectively with the organization and external audiences
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment, particularly in a small office setting
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel functions
• Experience with posting payments and researching discrepancies
• Strong verbal skills are a must!
