Key Responsibilities
- Corporate Accounts Payable
- Handle approvals, coding, and wire payment processing for multiple entities in Great Plains (10-20% of the role).
- Reconciliations
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Journal Entries
- Prepare and post journal entries for the month-end close process.
- Month-End Close
- Assist in the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Financial Statements
- Contribute to the preparation and review of financial statements.
- Bank Reconciliations
- Complete bank account reconciliations as part of the monthly accounting process.
- Acquisition Clean-Up
- Assist in clean-up work related to recent company acquisitions.
- Ad Hoc Projects
- Support additional accounting tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience
- 2+ years of accounting experience in a similar role.
- Education
- A degree in Accounting is highly preferred.
- Skills
- Experience with multi-entity accounting. Proficient with Great Plains software is a plus.
- Attributes
- Flexible, adaptable, and positive attitude. Strong collaboration skills.
