Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
• Track and analyze construction project costs and ensure proper job costing.
• Maintain the general ledger and support the Controller with various accounting tasks.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting for construction projects.

Preferred Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with construction accounting software and job costing.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
