We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in challenging environments, have a keen eye for detail, and possess a profound understanding of electrical systems in an industrial setting. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our manufacturing operations through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical equipment. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Perform regular tests and inspections on electrical systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Read and interpret complex electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Manage and repair electrical control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLC).
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes in handling electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and solve electrical problems.
- Train and guide junior electricians and apprentices.
- Recommend modifications and upgrades for electrical systems to improve performance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs to minimize machine downtime and increase productivity.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience working with PLCs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Valid license to practice the profession.
- Strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
