The QTI Group is seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer for a leading structural steel manufacturing company in Arlington WI. The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including material handling, machine operating, and industrial painting. Key Responsibilities:Load, unload, and transport steel materials using forklifts, cranes, or other equipment, ensuring proper storage, organization, and rotation of stock to meet scheduling demands.Operate and maintain various machines and equipment, performing routine maintenance, inspections, and calibrations. Assist with the assembly line and ensure adherence to safety protocols.Prepare steel surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming, and apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Inspect painted surfaces for quality, maintain painting equipment, and comply with safety standards.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in manufacturing or an industrial setting is preferred.Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment.Basic knowledge of machine operation and maintenance.Experience with industrial painting and surface preparation is a plus.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
