Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU Job Duration: 18-week assignment Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per workweek for a 3, 12-hour shift Experience: Minimum 18 months required License: For start dates 2-4 weeks out, must have an active IN or compact license. For start dates 4+ weeks out, must have started the IN/compact licensing process. Certifications: Required based on unit specifics Must-Have: - Must be comfortable with both PCU and MedSurg- Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs- Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays Job Description: - Work in a mix acuity unit with responsibilities across PCU and MedSurg as needed.- Understand and work with patient ratios of 1:5.- Complete a 12-hour orientation prior to starting regular shifts.- Follow all facility-specific policies and procedures, including mandatory flu vaccination, with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons.- Utilize Cerner charting system effectively.- Uphold standards of practice and maintain professionalism in a short-term acute care facility.- Floating is mandatory for all travelers within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as required.- Candidates must be from an accredited university by the ACEN or CCNE.
