Registered Nurse - Endoscopy @ IU Health University Hospital

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Endoscopy Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) Guaranteed Hours: To be determined Experience: 18 months required; exceptions may be made depending on the unit License: Must have Indiana or compact license in hand or have submitted the fingerprint application package in order to apply Certifications: Refer to job description/unit description to find a list of required certifications depending on unit Must-Have: - Experience with Cerner is required- Effective communication skills- Ability to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals Job Description: - Work in the Endoscopy unit with a primary focus on perioperative care.- Comply with policy updates effective 11/30/2024 regarding contract start and end dates.- Participate in hospital floating requirements.- Assume charge responsibilities if required, with additional training provided.- Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as needed.- Submit 2 supervisor references with application.- Ensure all certifications and licenses are up-to-date as per state and unit requirements.- Must have attended a university accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation.- Complete a 12-hour orientation prior to starting.Please adjust the job duration, experience, and any other specifics if they are subject to change or require clarification.
