Accounting Manager
to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead critical financial processes while making a meaningful impact within the organization.Job Description
As an
Accounting Manager , you will oversee account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of adjusting entries. You will complete the monthly close process and manage sales tax reconciliation and filings, including setting up new accounts as needed. Your responsibilities will include:Developing and managing cash forecasts to support financial planning.Assisting with bank audits and providing year-end audit support.Supervising and overseeing all aspects of accounts receivable, including collections, reconciliations, customer setup, third-party AR insurance reporting, invoice processing, and payment application.Managing accounts payable functions such as invoice and payment processing, vendor setup, and 1099 reporting.Overseeing payroll and benefits administration, including employee setup, pay-period processing, and benefits management.
Qualifications
To excel as an
Accounting Manager
with our client, you should possess the following qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.At least 3 years of accounting experience, with supervisory experience preferred.Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with ERP software, particularly Microsoft Great Plains, is a plus.A meticulous eye for detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with an outgoing personality and proactive approach.Reliability, friendliness, and a conscientious work ethic.
