Seeking an onsite Accountant, Financial I (no remote / hybrid)

In this role, you will manage third-party trade Accounts Receivable, including payment application, reconciliation, and support (when needed), along with performing monthly cash flow calculations, billings, and reconciliations. You will handle Accounts Payable activities such as vendor creation, processing third-party Trade Accounts Payable, consignment invoicing, ERS, weekly vendor payments, and any necessary reconciliations, while coordinating the resolution of Accounts Payable issues with Purchasing, Receiving, and other departments. Additionally, you will support intercompany receivable and payable processing, including netting, and perform month-end and quarter-end closing activities, providing support for external audits.

You will coordinate and prepare audit schedules, offering explanations for external audits, and support Fixed Asset accounting and regular physical Fixed Asset inventories with internal management. Your responsibilities will also include supporting general ledger accounting, assisting all areas of finance with ongoing activities as defined by management.This role will be developing, documenting, implementing, and updating financial accounting processes and procedures.

Furthermore, you will test upgrades and new procedures for Accounts Receivable and Payable, resolving any issues that arise, and interface with other departments to provide high-level customer service, including assistance with asset monitoring, account coding, and transaction research. Lastly, you will perform special project tasks as assigned by the Financial Reporting Manager or CFO.

Position Requirements:

Requires a minimum of BA /BS degree in Accounting or Finance. Must have some experience in processing AR and/ or AP functions. Onsite only - no remote / hybrid work available.

You must have knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to IFRS and/or GAAP). Understanding of Internal Control concepts and accounting procedures. Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred), Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
