Job Summary
Job Description
The Director of Order to Cash will oversee the OTC end-to-end process and continuous improvement with accountability and oversight of governance, policy, processes, system implementation and KPI analytics.
This role will serve as the principal point of contact for all OTC-related projects, determining the nature of the business need to contribute the most value-added application of the solution. It will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Order to Cash, managing areas of process efficiency, continuous improvement initiatives, system capabilities, stakeholder relationships, audit and compliance.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership and Strategic Planning
• Lead and Mentor Departmental Teams: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including steering committees and other IT executives, to define and implement the department's strategic goals.
• Manage Key Projects: Take ownership of major projects, ensuring they align with corporate strategy, have well-defined budgets, timelines, and deliver expected business benefits.
• Business Acumen: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization's various business processes and the systems that support them.
Operational Excellence
• Continuous Improvement: Understand and enhance project and support methodologies, focusing on quality and cost control.
• Systems and Design: Utilize a broad understanding of systems design to provide architectural and technical guidance.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of team output, diagnosing and addressing root causes of any quality issues and ensuring application reliability and availability to meet business objectives.
People Management and Team Development
• Personnel Strategy: Lead personnel-related activities such as recruiting, retention, and performance management.
• Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, ensuring timely project completion and minimizing business disruption.
• Policy and Procedure: Review, question, and enhance departmental policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Financial Oversight: Maintain cost control within your area of responsibility.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Certification / Licensure
None required.
Work Experience
At least 10 years of combined IT and Order to Cash experience with at least 4 years of leadership experience.

- Extensive knowledge of current programming languages, operating systems, and other relevant technologies.
- Experience with enterprise architecture and cloud-based solutions.
- Understanding of IT security protocols and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrable experience in aligning IT functions with business goals and objectives.
- Experience in negotiating with and managing third-party vendors.
- Proven skills in budget preparation, analysis, decision-making, and enforcement within financial objectives.
