VariableGeneral Responsibilities

This part-time position will play a vital role in managing the athletic department's business operations. The ideal candidate will be familiar with intercollegiate athletics business processes and possess excellent organizational skills. The coordinator will consult with the Athletic Director regularly to problem solve, define, and implement changes with budgetary policies and procedures as needed.Work Performed

Provide daily oversight of all cost centers and team budgets.Prepare budget revisions and expense and correction requests as required.Assist Athletic Director with budget development for facility and athletic accounts.Prepare and complete the year-end budget close-out for athletic operational budgets.Collect, compile, and coordinate department data and files for reporting and tracking team and program activities.Assist in the compilation of information required by the finance office for completion of the EADA report.Generate purchase orders for facility maintenance and department contracted services.Prepare department meeting agendas.Provide administrative support to the Athletics Department as needed.Assist with game operation duties as requested.Minimum Education Required

Associate's degreeOther Knowledge Required

Associate's degree or equivalence in college credits.Prior experience working in an administrative office setting.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.Excellent organizational skills, flexibility, time management, and attention to detail.Ability to work as part of a team.Working Conditions
