Every day we impact the lives of millions by changing the way people see the world.GENERAL FUNCTIONResponsible for physical Inventory support and analysis, recall/reconciliations, in transit and open PO analysis, research of variances and adjustments, and "MS Access" reporting to supply chain. Complete investigation and analysis of inventory results. Various store adjustments, documentation and reporting.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAnalysis of inventory data, and resultsProvide analysis and timely adjustments for break-insAdjustments including but not limited to store to store, lost shipments, shipping errors, sync, and closed storesCompilation of data and review for weekly adjustment reviewLead initiatives with business leaders on Inventory results, improvement for shrink and damages, and corresponding inventory accounting metricsDesign and execute database queries into various systems to get required data including SAP, Business Objects, ESSBASE, and other reporting databasesSummarize the results of queries in a common format and provide brand specific financial reportingMaintain accuracy and frequency of reports with Retail brands and accounting/FinanceEstablish processes for ongoing daily / weekly / monthly distribution of reportsBuild/Maintain metrics databases allowing for trend reporting. Includes creating MS Access data for Brand reportsMonitor the effectiveness of the reports and coordinate improvements as requiredContact and establish effective relationships with various sources of data within Luxottica RetailAnalyze results for trends and opportunities using appropriate toolsTrack trends in root causes and tie to improvement in resultsDemonstrates willingness and ability to be a self-starter working independently, taking the initiative to solve problems/pursue opportunitiesEffectively communicates with managementBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBA/BS degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience4+ years' experienceProven organizational and multi-tasking skillsStrong analytical/problem solving skillsStrong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Strong Excel, PP, Outlook, etc.)Attention to detail and deadline-orientedStrong working knowledge in SAP (FMS/AFS1)Strong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated skills/traits including: highly organized, innovative, and high ethical standardsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSInventory Management
