Business Development Representative (BDR)

to join our team so we can help post-acute providers better partner with referral sources — so that more patients receive the care they need, where they need.You, as the Business Development Representative, will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in ensuring Trella Health’s commitment to outstanding products, customer service and company expansion in the marketplace. You will thrive in both independent and team environments, possess outstanding communication skills, and be well versed in developing relationships with prospects of various backgrounds and personalities. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and innovative healthcare IT environment with room for advancement within the Marketing and Sales Organization. Our ideal candidate is very driven and can show evidence that they thrive in a competitive, merit-based environment. This person will work with the Business Development team to identify high value potential customers through different prospecting avenues.This role is part of the Trella marketing team – an awesome, collaborative group where new ideas are tested, decisions are driven by data, and wins are celebrated. BDR DirectorAs the Business Development Representative, you will...Gain a strong understanding of both industry and product knowledge.Gain proficiency in using Salesforce CRM and other sales tools.Using phone, email and LinkedIn, qualify prospective customer leads in a high-volume environment with the objective of hitting quotas for monthly new qualified opportunities.Able to effectively communicate the value and benefits of Trella Health to prospects.Review prospective customer needs through leveraging Trella Health’s portals and leverage in outreach.Complete 40-50 calls and emails per day.Aggressively and systematically move prospects into the sales funnel.Drive the beginning of the sales process by setting up demos and discovery calls with prospects/leads for sales reps.Perform support tasks for sales team members to support the sales process.Document all sales activity in CRM including contacts, opportunities, etc.Effectively collaborate with peers to enhance team effectiveness.Provide superior client service and responsiveness.Represent the company in an exemplary manner in all client and prospect interactions.Support, organize, deploy and follow up on marketing activities such as round tables, email campaigns, trade show activities, etc.This job might be a fit for you if you have:BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.Inquisitive nature—desire to dig in, make a difference, and always keep learning.Proactive, can-do attitude with a bias towards action.Competitive drive & desire to win.Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to persuade, influence, and drive value.Highly organized, strong time management skills with high degree of attention to detail.Strong networking and business development skills.Ability to research, identify and qualify prospective leads.Ability to learn technology and process (e.g. SalesForce, SalesLoft, MS Office, etc.).Interest in beginning a career in Healthcare Sales or Marketing.Self-motivated & someone who takes initiative.Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
