This position is responsible for supervising the Purchasing Team and helping deliver an exceptional customer experience. The Operations Procurement Supervisor works with the Operations Manager to lead the Purchasing Department and foster a positive work environment.Supervising and providing guidance to purchasing staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and conducting regular performance evaluationsLeading weekly team meetings to communicate updates, discuss challenges, and strategize on improving purchasing processes and performanceManaging timecard submissions and approvals for purchasing staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and proceduresHandling internal and external customer escalations, addressing concerns promptly and ensuring satisfactory resolutionEnsuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activitiesProviding training and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in procurement practicesCollaborate closely with and report data to the Operations Manager to align purchasing activities with overall operational goals and objectivesCommunicate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand departmental needs and requirementsFoster transparent communication channels to address issues, share updates, and coordinate procurement efforts effectivelyQualification & Education RequirementsAt least 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with previous supervising experienceExcellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize customer satisfaction and cultivate positive relationships with internal customers through responsive communicationStrong understanding of procurement processes and supplier relationship managementStrong leadership abilities with the capacity to effectively manage and motivate a team of purchasing professionalsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutionsCommitment to fostering a positive work culture and promoting professional development opportunities for team membersFisher’s Technology offers an extensive benefits package that includes the following:
