Procurement Supervisor

to join our team at Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership (EICAP).

The Role:

As our

Procurement Supervisor , your role is crucial in ensuring that our purchasing activities align with Agency Financial Policies and Procedures, Federal and State purchasing guidelines, and Grantor requirements. You'll be responsible for generating Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Sealed Bids, and vendor quotes, contributing to our financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise our procurement team, ensuring accurate inventory systems.

Issue requisitions for purchases through our electronic system.

Procure essential office, maintenance, and operational supplies.

Identify and utilize federal and state purchasing options when possible.

Maintain purchase and fuel card accounts.

Manage vendor/contractor data files.

Verify vendor/contractor debarment status.

Provide support to our auditing firm.

Assist with other tasks as requested.

Qualifications:

To excel as our

Procurement Supervisor , you'll need:

A Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field

and

at least one year experience in purchasing/procurement;

OR

Five years of experience in a purchasing/procurement environment.

Familiarity with electronic accounting systems.

Proficiency in Information Technology Systems.

Strong language, mathematical, and reasoning skills.

Problem-solving abilities.

A valid Idaho driver's license and insurability.

You should also be comfortable using computers, office equipment, and specific software. We'll provide training on Abila MIP Electronic Requisition Software.

Compensation:

Wage $60,000 to $63,000 per year, depending on experience.

403B Retirement Plan, with employer match of 6%

EICAP pays 60% of dependent health and dental premiums.
