Lead Canning Line Operator to add to our outstanding team. Responsibilities include running and maintaining our Wildgoose 5 head filler with inline labeler and Paktech applicator
. Other responsibilities include keeping track of inventory, fulfilling weekly orders, maintaining impeccable cleanliness of machine and warehouse, keeping track of carbonation and other common cellar duties.
Required skills, abilities, certifications, and licenses:*
At least 5 years’ experience packaging and/or other cellar person experience*
A thorough understanding of Brewery etiquette and Safety Standards*Ability to multi task and manage time efficiently*Ability to direct and lead a small packaging crew*Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot when problems arise*Work on your feet all day, lifting, bending, and reaching*Follow work instructions and SOP's*Excellent attention to detail*Strong interpersonal and communication skills*Move 150 pounds and lift 50 pounds*Tolerance to a work environment that is regularly wet, with various temperature ranges and noise*Flexibility to adapt to task changes based on production requirements*A valid driver’s license is required
This is a full-time, year-round position. Starting pay is $22 -$25 per hour depending on experience with opportunity for advancement over time. There will be a personal review with management and pay increase after the first 90 days, then again at 1 year. Employee health insurance offered, flexible hours and paid time off after the first year. We have no graveyard shifts we operate from 8am-4pm Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week and year-round.Worth NotingWe are a rural community and the pay rate reflects the demographic. The cost of living here is less than that of most major cities. For those considering relocating for this position we will certainly help find you a place to stay. We also have low-cost employee housing opportunities pop up as well from time to time.Our brewery is located in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains, rivers, lakes, ski resorts, world class rock and ice climbing and some of the friendliest people on the East Coast.
