This is a full-time, twelve (12) month, non-tenure track Extension faculty position. Candidates are sought with interests that complement and expand upon current initiatives and education activities in OEE and CSU Extension.Responsibilities:Lead diverse and inclusive natural resource and 4-H youth development programs.Provide leadership and organization in the development, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of educational programs in Elbert County.Develop and manage youth and adult volunteers and build program capacity.Create innovative programming opportunities and foster collaboration.Work as a member of the local county Extension team and as a local representative of Colorado State University.Conditions of Employment: Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires), Valid Driver’s License, TravelRequired Job Qualifications:Completed bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources, Range Management, Soil Health Management, Forestry, Youth Development, or a closely related field.3+ years professional experience relevant to the Essential Job Duties.Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one by the employment start date.The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date.Preferred Job Qualifications:Ability to communicate through teaching, public speaking/presentation and writing.Ability to plan and organize work with diverse populations.Ability to secure external funding.Experience with conflict resolution and public issues education.Application Instructions: For full consideration, all materials must be RECEIVED no later than 11:59 PM Mountain Time on Monday, October 7, 2024.
