www.intigral.comMajor Job Responsibilities:The Manager of Purchasing/Procurement will play a pivotal role in our organization by developing and executing procurement strategies that optimize our purchasing power and ensure a seamless supply chain. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for our manufacturing operations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop, implement, and maintain procurement policies and strategies for cost-effective purchasing and continuous supply chain optimization.Lead the procurement process from vendor selection, negotiation, and contract execution, to performance evaluation.Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality materials and timely delivery while maintaining competitive pricing.Conduct market analysis to identify trends, evaluate supply risks, and leverage opportunities for cost savings and supply chain improvements.Collaborate with the manufacturing, finance, and quality assurance departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with company objectives.Oversee the procurement team, providing guidance and leadership to achieve departmental goals.Implement and utilize procurement software and systems for efficient operation and data analysis.Monitor and manage the company's spending, ensuring budget and financial targets adherence.Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards in the procurement process.Required Skills/Abilities:Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Proven ability to develop and implement procurement strategies and processes that align with company goals.Experience with procurement software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.Strong leadership and team management skills.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the manufacturing sector, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:APICS CPIM, CSCP certification or ISM CPM, CPSM preferred.
