We are hiring a key role as an

Account Executive focused on the Automotive vertical . Our team is tasked with building the strongest portfolio in the industry that will provide end-to-end digital marketing for our automotive segment customers. This is an opportunity to be part of The USA TODAY Network team that will drive a retail auto industry transformation.

The successful candidate builds solutions and drives results for our Automotive clients, developing relationships with senior executives at local dealerships. The ideal candidate will have delivered results in both “traditional” and “new” media environments.

Responsibilities:

Drive product penetration, upsell, and retention of Accounts with the primary goal of new business development.

Develop relationships with senior executives at local dealerships and rooftops. Perform face-to-face sales calls and retention meetings.

Create solutions with CSM and deliver custom solutions that provide ROI to clients.

Effectively use SalesForce.com to manage the pipeline and maintain awareness of revenue responsibilities.

Develop insights and create an account plan that helps shape a customized account strategy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3 to 5+ years of sales experience with a history of successful sales.

Strong understanding of digital media platforms and ability to grow market share.

Experience working with Salesforce or another CRM platform.

Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Pre-employment drug testing and background screening are required. The annualized base salary for this role will range between $51,300 and $70,000.
