Account Executive focused on the Automotive vertical . Our team is tasked with building the strongest portfolio in the industry that will provide end-to-end digital marketing for our automotive segment customers.This is an opportunity to be part of The USA TODAY Network team that will drive a retail auto industry transformation. You will be part of an elite team of Sales Executives across Gannett working to develop and build exceptional business solutions for our clients.The successful candidate builds solutions and drives results for our Automotive clients, developing relationships with senior executives at local dealerships. The ideal candidate will have delivered results in both traditional and new media environments.Responsibilities:Drive product penetration, upsell, and retention of Accounts with the primary goal of new business development.Develop relationships with senior executives at local dealerships. Perform face-to-face sales calls and retention meetings.Create solutions with CSM and deliver custom solutions that provide ROI to clients.Effectively use SalesForce.com to manage the pipeline and maintain awareness of revenue responsibilities.Develop insights and create an account plan to shape a customized account strategy.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or equivalent combination of education and experience.3 to 5+ years of sales experience with a history of successful sales, innovation, and goal achievement.Strong understanding of digital media platforms and ability to grow and maintain market share.Proficient in face-to-face sales calling including up-selling and appointment setting.Demonstrated record of success in a goal-oriented environment.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage time effectively.Experience working with Salesforce or another CRM platform.Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.What we offer:As a part of Gannett Co., Inc., we offer a dynamic, community-focused environment where individuals are rewarded for exceptional performance.
