Renowned for our superior installations, impeccable craftsmanship, and stunning project outcomes, we consistently deliver top-notch results.We are seeking a Commercial Roofing Superintendent for our Bloomington, IN location.The superintendent will work with the Service Manager to support, direct, and supervise the Service & Maintenance Crews. This position involves both field management and administrative duties.Job Functions:
Assists Service Manager with the daily scheduling of the service crews, including dispatching work orders through service software applications.Assists in daily communications with the service crews and customers.Ensures quality control and customer expectations are met.Ensures job site safety protocols are followed and maintained.Develops and uses strong advanced planning skills for establishing maximum productivity of manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure jobs start & finish on time.Educates employees on general roofing best practices, leak-call investigations, repair procedures, customer service relations, roof investigations, and inspection techniques.Monitors service material inventory and completes new material orders as required.Monitors service equipment, new equipment purchases, and temporary rentals for projects.Completes site visits to take measurements and verify existing conditions for planning and material fabrication.Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential):
High School Diploma or equivalent.+4 years of commercial roofing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret project drawings and details.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Strong interpersonal skills; oral and written communication skills.Valid US driver’s license and clean driving record.Must not be afraid of heights and must be able to position extension ladder to access roof for roof inspection/survey.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Tecta offers a comprehensive benefits package including:MedicalVision401(k) with company matchPaid time offTecta America is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
