Job Description Summary

The Sr. E-commerce Analyst will be a member of the E-Commerce Team part of Bel Brands’ Sales Strategy and Capabilities team and will support business development and be responsible for forecasting and running paid e-commerce activity with trade budgets, and will oversee e-commerce digital shelf and content management across retailers and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Agencies, and Global partners). The Sr. E-Commerce Analyst will lead e-commerce data collection, analysis, and insight generation from retailer’s and in CPG industry for Bel Brands to act on as well as developing strategic improvements to trade plans, tools, and tech to execute paid e-commerce to maximum potential. The Sr. E-commerce Analyst’s key collaborators include the E-commerce team, Field Sales teams, Category Management, Sales Brokers, Digital Marketing (Activations, Brands (Marketing), E-commerce technology and vendor providers, e-com media/marketing departments of retailers, and 3rd party e-comm platforms (Skai, Citrus, Criteo, Data Impact).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Enable Sales and Marketing Teams to Drive E-Business + Paid Search

: 30%

Responsible for paid search activations to drive growth on all pure players

Collaborate with strategic sales and capabilities team to implement tools, technology, and develop team knowledgebase for e-retail/e-commerce

Share learnings across brands and retailers on key ecommerce growth pillars

Continually identify, test, and scale opportunities to grow sales on e-business with Sr. manager:

retail excellence projects, tool development, e-com education, new retailers/formats

Directly interface with brand and shopper marketing teams to execute e-commerce programs

Develop a deep knowledge of US food e-business: Research, share, and apply best practices with Sr. manager, SS+C, marketing, and field teams on an ongoing basis

Lead E-Commerce Data Management: 30%

Collect, analyze, and provide insights on all Bel e-commerce business data across brands

Share and scale successful retailer e-commerce programs across brands/other retailers

Digital Shelf Execution Analyst for OOS, Distribution, Ratings/Reviews, etc. at retailers with Data Impact tool to improve e-com execution with field sales and retail excellence

Work with Strategic Insights and Category Sales team to develop additional e-com analysis for new business growth: scale gourmet, kids snacking, launch and support innovation with e-com

Continually collect and monitor industry e-commerce customers trends and behavior. Summarize with action items for Sales, Marketing, RID teams

Monitor ecommerce shelf tracker and work together with sales to understand content gaps

Own monthly ecommerce net sales report

E-Commerce Content Management: 40%

Lead Digital shelf tool (Syndigo) and own relationship with Acosta

Identify business opportunities and outline actions for field team to close gaps/sell more

Track and standardize assortment, OOS, and promotion replication, content compliance

US liaison to Marketing, Sales, and Global teams on e-commerce basic and enhanced content requirements from retailers

Power user and administrator of content syndication tools and systems (Syndigo) ensuring execution excellence from marketing and sales teams

Brief Marketing/Agency to develop customized e-com content to products or retailers as needed

Refreshing e-commerce look-book from a quarterly basis

Own GDSN – new item setup process via Syndigo

Qualifications and Competencies

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2+ years of e-commerce sales, marketing, or sales analytics experience. Experience in CPG preferred.

Sales Planning and execution in e-retail with large scale retailers in the US

Experience selling on pure player e-commerce platforms like Amazon & Instacart

Specific competencies required:

Ability to work across teams in an unstructured and continuously evolving duel role

Amazon execution and familiarity on platforms/technology they use (Vendor Central)

Understanding CPG e-retail marketplace, major players, technology, and leaders in space

Must have expertise in e-commerce CPG analysis and demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork and strategic thinking skills

Experience utilizing various E-com tools and technology (Profitero, Syndigo, 1Space, etc.)

Knowledge of how GDSN data works and how to improve syndication process

Familiarity with paid search campaigns to drive sales & brand awareness

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.

Proven track record of coordinating communication across the entire organization.

Advanced MS Office skills with a focus on Excel

Salary

$95,000 - $105,000

12% bonus
