ASSISTANT DIRECTOR PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM**Currently offering a $5k Signing Bonus for this role***About the Role:Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Lowell is looking for an Assistant Director to join our team! Our Partial Hospitalization Programs are group-based and short-term for individuals requiring a higher level of care. Our teams work to promote a group that is therapeutic, safe, and supportive. We thrive for an environment in which the emotional and psychological well-being of the individual is maintained and encouraged.The Partial Hospitalization (PHP) Assistant Director assists in the overall quality and fiscal management of the PHP program. The Assistant Director, in collaboration with or in the absence of the Director PHP, assures that clinical services are in full compliance with applicable regulations and payer contract specifications. This role delivers direct services to clients, participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning and performs administrative duties required in program management.Essential Responsibilities:Coordinate and conduct intakesAssess client's or family's needs and eligibility for services through Intake Assessments and ongoing assessments throughout the course of treatment at the programLead and co-lead group therapy in accordance with assigned client needsParticipate in planning treatment programsParticipate in interdisciplinary treatment planningMaintain a case-load in accordance with needs of the programMaintain required charting and documentation in a timely and thorough mannerPerform de-escalation interventionsAdhere to all client confidentiality requirements and standardsAccept supervision and attend regularly scheduled team or supervision meetingsOversee transportation coordination - site specificOversee supply orders for the program - site specificOversee food service for the program - site specificMentor to Graduate Level InternsProvide supervision to Graduate Level Interns - if able to based on qualification and as determined by DirectorParticipate in chart audit processRequire minimal supervision regarding use of time and ability to prioritize work assignmentsCommunicate effectively with professionals and clients/familiesMake sound decisions in emergency situations or with unpredictable or violent clientsMake accurate assessments and provide appropriate treatmentEstablish and maintain effective working relationships within the agency, community, and referral sourcesOther duties as assignedLeadership Expectations:Foster staff development and growth of the teamProvide regular coaching and feedback to employees to motivate performanceComplete performance evaluations providing thorough feedback and goals to assigned staff by established deadlinesCoordinate and provide day-to-day oversight to staff; actively involved in resolving employee matters/issuesMaintain open communication through regular rounding and one-to-one meetings with employeesEnsure staff comply with assigned education requirements in a timely manner (i.e., CIA Training, HIPAA training, competencies, etc.)Hold staff accountable for upholding facility policies/procedures and managing the corrective action process when neededActively participate and champion the facility's Service Excellence and Recognition ProgramsDevelop team building initiatives to engage staff and build a positive team dynamicActively participate in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding for all staff within the teamBenefits:Electronic Health Record (EHR) SystemWeekly licensure supervisionLicense prep, testing fee & licensing fees covered by ArbourFree CEUsYearly Tuition Reimbursement401(k) with 5% company matchEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramCompany outingsCompetitive compensation & generous PTOExcellent Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug PlansInternal advancement opportunities ~ leadership & management trainingEmployee assistance program (EAP)Monthly productivity bonus plan available"Perks at Work" Program offering employee discounts on travel, electronics, entertainment, home appliances, food, auto, and moreQualifications:LICSW or LMHC requiredMinimum of two years as a clinical supervisor or program manager preferredPrior experience with children & adolescents as well as a higher level of care experience preferredCandidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentationCandidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentationEEO Statement:All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
