This position is based at Southern Desert Correctional Center in Indian Springs, NV. The incumbent is responsible for management of various operational systems; checks systems, monitor and/or adjust a computerized energy management system; adjusts combustion and safety controls; adjust pressure and temperature gauges; take water samples and analyze chemical properties of feed water; prevent water deposits and sludge build-up. Preventative maintenance includes lubricating motors and fans, replacing drive belts, and cleaning equipment and surrounding areas to promote safety and efficiency. It is essential that applications include detailed information with time frames regarding education and experience.
