LHH is seeking a Distribution Center Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a client located in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will manage all inbound and outbound operations at your facility and oversee a team of supervisors and approximately 75 hourly employees. The compensation ranges between $85,000-95,000 and includes a variety of medical insurance plans, generous PTO, and a 401K with a company match.***H1B Sponsorship is not available for this position***JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement effective strategies to execute distribution operations for inbound and outbound shipments as well as oversee inventory control.Manage client demands in a fast-paced distribution center environment.Identify and lead process improvement projects.Consistently achieve productivity, quality, delivery, and budgetary targets.Oversee a value-added warehousing and distribution environment.Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements.Coordinate with department leaders across the organization to ensure consistent effective communication and alignment of objectives.Develop, monitor, and guide the development of all new-hires through our hands-on training program and ongoing professional development initiatives.Effectively communicate with customers, remain compliant with their standards, and make preparations for site visits.QUALIFICATIONS
