SUMMARY

The goal of RS EDEN’s Reentry Services is to provide temporary communal housing, individual and community safety, holistic wellness, recovery, and increase in skills and income.

The Program Manager manages the daily delivery of positive and professional support services programming in the assigned program site(s). S/he/they lead a team of support services staff and ensure quality of service and adherence to program and agency protocol as well as state and federal statutes. S/he/they cultivate a positive environment within the participant community via the coordination and oversight of group activities and productive opportunities for participants, ensuring that services are relevant to participant needs and connected to relevant area resources. S/he/they have regular communication with government stakeholders and funders to continuously evaluate programming and participant needs. S/he/they regularly seek and use client, stakeholder, and community feedback to improve programs and future development of services. S/he/they represent RS EDEN by interfacing with both public and private agencies and making positive linkages to local community partners and resources that support program and agency goals. S/he/they lead, develop, and manage personnel at multiple properties while maintaining strong working relationships with all RS EDEN leaders and other internal teams. S/he/they can understand and teach core Services Case Management procedures. S/he/they must be able to address conflict, apply solution-focused problem-solving, support positive teamwork, and possess the ability to work through challenging situations in a professional manner. S/he/they is mission-driven, employs innovation, creativity, flexibility, and a willingness to apply learned and evidence-based practices effectively. Excellent organizational skills, flexibility, effective time management practices and the ability to manage multiple tasks are a must.

Salary range: $55,000-$65,000 annually

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage service delivery at the program sites; ensure high quality service delivery in adherence with program and agency values; ensure program and file compliance is maintained.

Provide supervision of staff, including scheduled supervision with each direct report, annual reviews, hiring and performance monitoring.

Develop positive working relationships with staff at all levels of RS EDEN, foster partnerships and facilitate cross-programmatic communication.

Cultivate and manage the coordination, facilitation, and oversight of community-driven activities and productive opportunities for participants and monitor the safety and participation of the participant community milieu in all activities.

Support development of participant programming, ensuring relevancy to needs and appropriate connections to area resources.

Supervise and provide skills groups facilitation as needed.

Maintain current evaluation of program outcomes and needs in collaboration with the Services Leadership.

Promote a positive, productive, inclusive, and challenging work environment and implement team-work procedures among staff.

Maintain a current understanding of best practices, trends, and new developments within the Permanent Supportive Housing systems, including Mental Health, Substance Use, Criminal Justice, and homeless response systems.

Prepare quarterly/annual internal and external programmatic and funding reports in partnership with Services Director team.

Attend relevant external community and stakeholder meetings representing programming and RS EDEN.

Serve as liaison with community partners, contract managers, funders, etc.

Provide triage support in emergency situations.

Safeguard personally identifiable information in accordance with duties and agency standards.

Participate in staff meetings, in-service and outside trainings to maintain personal growth and development, as well as professional competence.

Maintain open, transparent, and timely communication with other leadership staff as requested.

Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Required:

AS/BS/BA Degree in Criminal Justice or related field or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within the Criminal Justice Systems, and familiarity with relevant stakeholders and community providers.

Experience working with diverse cultural groups.

Possess and exercise sound judgment, organizational skills, and strong, flexible time management practices.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to resolve conflicts with staff.

Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds with complex challenges.

Ability to serve as positive role model for staff and residents.

Ability to adapt to a variety of situations as they arise.

Valid state driver’s license.

Criminal background check must show compliance with the regulations required under statute related to the Kari Koskinen law.

If currently employed at RS EDEN, must be in current role for a minimum of six months and be in good standing.

Preferred:

Minimum 1 year of supervision experience.
