The Quality Supervisor is the day-to-day production lead for the quality team at a large regional craft brewery. You will both perform daily laboratory and quality tasks and manage the technicians and processes therein. The quality team at pFriem plays a critical role in the production of excellent beer. The position requires a willingness to train on a diverse set of skills throughout the brewery production process.Critical responsibilities:Oversee all daily laboratory and quality tasks including microbiological, chemical, and physical analysis. Accountable for quality data collection and subsequent action steps.Maintain all laboratory equipment and participate in annual capital expenditure planning for quality department upgrades.Microbiological sampling and analysis.Collect samples from canning and kegging lines. Measure package gasses and physical characteristics using a variety of instruments.Manage the communication channels to production teams to inform operations in real time.Actively participate in weekly production and operations meetings.Data collection, entry, and database management.Manage SOPs, checklists, and troubleshooting guides, including edits and process improvements.Willingness to learn and train on new equipment and processes as they are onboarded.Training and onboarding of new quality team members.Set the standard for general laboratory upkeep and cleanliness.Contribute to a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols.Work a 4x10h schedule, with willingness to adjust work schedule to ensure proper quality team coverage.Be on time for all shifts, ready to work, with a clear head.Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.Be able to lift up to 50lbs safely and without risk of injury to self, others, or company property.This list is not exhaustive of the responsibilities required.More about you
