Livermore, CAKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Receive incoming quote opportunities and review pertinent information in a timely manner.Assist with maintaining the company quote log and updated status of bids.Maintain updates and distribution of the bid list, bid packages, addendums, and documentation to ensure complete, accurate, and timely bid processing and information flow.Assist or prepare the necessary bid or proposal documents for timely distribution and submission.Assist in qualifying equipment and subcontractor proposals.Update Excel bidding templates for preparation.Prepare documents required for proposal responses to our clients.Add and update Trade Partner contact information.Assist with the preparation of thorough, accurate, and timely estimates, including the preparation of bid documents and the development of clear written proposals and correspondence.Assist estimators in procuring bids and qualified subcontractors.Subcontractor bid proposal scope review.Manage plumbing and mechanical schedules.Review exclusions and clarifications from equipment bids.Input estimating calendar entries and update as necessary.Create estimating project folders and set up with the necessary bid documents.Prepare "draft" proposals which include filling out the project and client header information.Enter take-off items and quantities on the proposal template using pre-defined drop-down items.QUALIFICATIONS:RequiredAbility to smoothly handle a variety of situations and problems that may arise, sometimes several at a time, and either solve them or work with others involved to come to a cooperative resolution.Ability to work efficiently under constant deadline pressure.Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively disseminate information.Ability to work on multiple projects while meeting required deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, etc.).Strong critical thinking skills, results-driven, and requires minimal supervision once adequate training is received.PreferredFamiliarity with commercial or industrial construction procedures and trades.Blueprint reading experience.Pay:

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
