The Account Services Associate will cultivate the established relationship with customers through accountability, innovation, and commitment and ensure exemplary customer service. This role partners and advises the Account Services Manager and Directors of National Accounts on all account activity, with strong communication between internal/external customers. The Associate requires the ability to work directly with all levels of the organization including senior management.Overall Job Responsibilities:Note: These statements are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties.Research and resolve shipping, customer placement, and order entry discrepancies, as well as review financial impact incurred.Responsible for daily order to cash processes, including resolving daily EDI order issues to transmit customer orders into SAP and processing manual orders received via email/fax. Monitor orders in compliance with customer backorder policy.Responsible for all SAP related requirements including but not limited to daily reports and discrepancy resolution.Inventory monitoring via customer web based portals.Participate in departmental staff meetings to keep everyone informed of current issues.Timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.Responsible for processing customer orders, communicating order status, pricing, and shipment information.Create and maintain accurate customer information in master databases including updates.Collect necessary documentation and licenses.Conference calls with key customers to discuss order status and activity.Monitor and maintain high customer service levels and OTIF scores.Generate weekly backorder reports to distribute internally/externally per customer.Build and enhance business relationships with assigned accounts through managing special requirements, inventory updates, and information.Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:Education:BA/BS or equivalent work experience.Experience:Two or more years of relevant pharmaceutical experience.Customer Service experience strongly preferred.Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations.Good understanding of cGMP.Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical):Excellent knowledge of Windows Excel.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.SAP experience preferred.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently, make sound decisions.Good mathematical skills.Ability to multi-task.Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Physical Demands And Abilities:The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day.The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.About Glenmark:
