Faculty - Health ProfessionsEssential Job Functions:Provides high quality instruction in field of expertise, ensuring students meet course outcomes.Plans, evaluates, and revises curricula, course content, course materials, and methods of instruction.Selects and obtains materials and supplies, such as textbooks and laboratory equipment.Prepares course materials, such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.Identifies specialized materials for outside reading assignments.Initiates, facilitates, and moderates classroom discussions.Supervises laboratory sessions.Assists students who need extra help with their coursework outside of class.Maintains student attendance records, grades, and other required records.Evaluates and grades students' class work, laboratory and clinic work, assignments, and/or papers.Compiles, administers, and grades examinations, or assigns this work to others.Maintains regularly scheduled office hours to advise and assist students.Advises students on academic and vocational curricula and on career issues.Acts as advisor to student organizations, ensuring adherence to college and university policies and procedures.Team Leader Duties:Oversees and develops evidence-based treatment plans for assigned students/patients.Monitors assigned student progress to ensure student meets established clinical benchmarks.Conducts summative and formative assessments to determine students’ preparedness to challenge the Independent Clinical Performance Assessment (ICPA).Assigns new patients to D3 and D4 students to ensure a well-rounded learning experience.Works with Patient Management Coordinator (PMC) to ensure patients receive comprehensive dental care.Works with Department Chairs to assure department protocols and policies are followed and implemented.Job Requirements:Required Education: DDS/DMD or foreign equivalent dentistry degreeRequired Experience: Professional college-level teaching experience.Advertised:
