Faculty - Health ProfessionsEssential Job Functions:TeachingProvides high quality instruction in field of expertise, ensuring students meet course outcomes.Plans, evaluates, and revises curricula, course content, course materials, and methods of instruction.Selects and obtains materials and supplies, such as textbooks and laboratory equipment.Prepares course materials, such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.Prepares materials for laboratory activities and course materials, such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.Identifies specialized materials for outside reading assignments.Initiates, facilitates, and moderates classroom discussions.Supervises laboratory sessions.Assists students who need extra help with their coursework outside of class.Maintains student attendance records, grades, and other required records.Evaluates and grades students' class work, laboratory and clinic work, assignments, and/or papers.Compiles, administers, and grades examinations, or assigns this work to others.Maintains regularly scheduled office hours to advise and assist students.Advises students on academic and vocational curricula and on career issues.Acts as advisor to student organizations, ensuring adherence to college and university policies and procedures.Clinical Instruction

Dental Medicine - Comprehensive knowledge of the information/techniques needed in Dental Medicine. This includes symptoms/treatment planning.Education/Training - Knowledge of principles/methods for curriculum/training design/teaching for individuals/groups, and the measurement of training effects.English Language - Thorough knowledge of the structure/content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.Customer Service - General knowledge of principles/processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of user satisfaction.Skills:
