Swinerton Management and Consulting is a consulting business, Project Managers are synonymous with principals in a consulting practice.

To assist in securing new work, lead the execution of assignments, and develop talent in the Division to grow and sustain Swinerton Management & Consulting.

Job Description:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Senior Project Managers are key technical leaders on project teams leading the execution of assigned projects and assignments.

Manage multiple or large, complex projects.

Will have an awareness and contributing role in achieving revenue and gross profit goals, and be an active participant in the growth of the Division.

Will be active professionally in targeted professional organizations that are relevant to SMC’s business and target markets.

Responsible for assisting in securing new work and growing SMC’s business in a SMC target market. This is in partnership with the PX, Business Development Manager and others.

Responsible for assisting in the recruitment and mentoring of new staff.

Developing staff includes developing technical skills, human/soft skills, communication skills and business skills/acumen.

Drive for profitability, assisting in achieving the Division’s Business Plan and the financial goals of assignments.

Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience.

This position requires a Professional Engineer license in the state of California.

Construction management experience (10 years, including supervisory skills).

Leadership ability.

Problem-solving ability and strong sense of urgency.

Has a Seller/Leader mentality.

Software will include Unanet, CMIC and Workday for management of project portfolios.

Organizational and communication skills.

Drafting and computer skills.

Compensation Range:

Annual Salary: $117,500.00 - $185,000.00
