Knowledge Manager/Staff Action Control OfficerLocation:

Crystal City, VA 22202 US (Primary)Job Description:Torch Technologies is seeking a Knowledge Manager/Staff Action Control Officer. This position will support the Joint Counter small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office (JCO) Director, Deputy Director, and Secretariat Division Chief. The JCO serves as a focal point for the Department of Defense to synchronize and integrate C-sUAS efforts for all C-sUAS stakeholders (Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Services, and Inter-Agency) CONUS and OCONUS activities. The incumbent will support the full range of staff actions and manage multiple knowledge management processes and tools (SharePoint, Teams, ETMS2).Duties will include:Serves as Staff Action Control Officer (SACO) for the Joint Counter small-Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office (JCO) under the Executive Agent (Secretary of the Army), supporting the 2-Star JCO Commander.Provides a full range of management services including staff action guidance, administrative expertise, program management and analytical functions essential to the management and operation of the JCO staff.Primarily concerned with the tracking, administration, quality control and assessment of responses for all staff and coordination actions required to fulfill the JCO’s mission and tasks.Produces final format products that are clear, concise, complete and accurate including e-mail correspondence, fact sheets, memorandums, after action reports, executive summaries, military briefs, oral presentations, and policies.Responds to numerous inquiries from staff elements on a variety of subjects such as status of suspense and requests for extensions.Assigns and reviews work; assures production and accuracy requirements are met.Responsible for providing training and instruction for new personnel concerning internal staff action standard operating procedures and terminology, as well as preparation, content and assembly of staff actions.Aligns processes and technology to enable information sharing across the team using content management and SharePoint best practices.Performs administrative SharePoint duties including development and maintenance of SharePoint sites, pages, lists, and libraries.Provide troubleshooting of technical issues and acts as a technical point of contact (POC) for SharePoint, which may include providing training and best practice guidance through formal and informal training or Q&A sessions, responding to user comments and questions.Communicate with management and team members on ways to improve SharePoint site collections, content management, or community of interests (COIs) usage using analysis, reporting data, or analytics by creating reports/briefs.Review and report site performance issues as necessary, ensuring SharePoint site functionality and efficiency.Manage access rights/permissions for users as appropriate, optimize site loading speeds, and perform necessary updates.Job Requirements:Secret security clearance is required, Top Secret preferred.Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required, Master’s Degree preferred.5-10 years of related work experience.U.S. Citizenship Required for this Position:
