Your ResponsibilitiesJob SummaryTo accurately provide price and delivery for all our products to our customers in a timely and courteous fashion, utilizing organization and negotiating techniques, and applying resourcefulness and strong attention to detail while converting inquiries into orders. Answer customer questions concerning products/services and their orders. Develop target and non-major accounts into loyal customers. The Senior Inside Sales Rep typically handles large and/or complex customers.

Job DescriptionKey AccountabilitiesRespond to sales calls, faxes, and e-mailsGenerate and follow up on quotes for all productsProvide technical assistance to customersProcess sales ordersEnter return orders, credits, and debits when requiredEnter scrap return order as requested by distribution channelsReview product inventory and report concerns to purchasing/managementSatisfy customer service issuesContinuously increase knowledge of company products, services, and proceduresWork in team environment, communicating as required with all personnel.Traveling as needed to meet company goalsMonitor competitor products and prices.Assist in quality related duties where requiredProvides a high level of technical assistance- utilizing an extensive product knowledge and processing capabilities to determine what materials best fit customer needs and quote the appropriate materialSubject matter expert in product, system and processes and utilizes knowledge to train and assist other inside sales repsConsistently handles more complex customers, quotes and orders- such as orders requiring specialized alloys, processing, and inventory managementUtilizes a high level of market awareness (market conditions, etc.) to support pricing decisions within established pricing bandEffectively communicates with multiple stakeholders across the organization to proactively manage quotes and ordersDevelops and owns strong customer relationships and grows sales of new and/or established customersThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
