This position acts as the second in command to the Chief of Facilities Maintenance (i.e., Utility Senior Services Administrator). The incumbent has oversight responsibilities for plant maintenance, electrical maintenance, and mechanical maintenance departments. The position directs the inspection of equipment to assess repair needs, as well as performs a review of the work and assesses adherence to codes. Responds to citizen complaints and problems; researches and implements new maintenance and management programs and methodologies; creates weekly, monthly, and annual reports; and related work as required.Minimum Requirements

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Six (6) years of exempt, senior level professional experience in the areas of electrical, mechanical, power plant, and transmission systems maintenance. At least two (2) years of this experience must have included supervisory responsibilities for a major division.Permanent status with the Sewerage & Water Board as a Utility Senior Services Manager or higher in the Facilities Maintenance Department and three (3) years of experience in that classification.NOTE: Additional experience in electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, power plant maintenance, and high voltage maintenance may substitute for the bachelor’s degree at the rate of one (1) year of related experience equals one (1) year of college credits.NOTE:
