“With great passion and integrity, we strive to exceed the expectations of our customers and suppliers.”Job SummaryThe Chain Associate is an entry-level sales position that will require the candidate to achieve chain authorized sell-in objectives, secure incremental in-department and out-of-department wine and spirit displays, promoting off-planner brand opportunities to increase sales velocity to deliver best-in-class performance standards. This role is also responsible for day-to-day account management while conducting business in a professional, respectful, and high-performance manner.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlan time and account calls to ensure achievement of company and supplier distribution, displays, and volume objectives.Deliver effective sales presentations to the food and drug chains that achieve company and supplier objectives.Achieve chain-authorized sell-in opportunity in accordance with company performance metrics.Merchandise shelf, display, and cold box consistently and look for opportunities to grow business.Manage sales territory including calling on chain grocery and drugstore accounts weekly in an existing territory.Maintain a strong relationship with established accounts to maintain and increase the business within their establishment.Illustrate competency and familiarity with all Federal, State, and Local laws regulating the beverage alcohol industry.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications1+ year in sales positions in the wholesale Beverage Industry.Must have valid Driver’s License.Must have own reliable transportation & proof of insurance.Competencies, Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentAbility to stand for long periods of time regularly.Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and consistently.Ability to bend and reach regularly.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkFull Time position.Flexible hours required including early mornings, evenings, or weekend hours.Additional hours during peak busy season of October, November, and December.
