To advance Dartmouth’s athletics fundraising and engagement efforts by fostering a culture of donor-focused stewardship and relationship building.Required Qualifications - Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in development, alumni relations, communications, stewardship, donor relations, and engagement, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:Talent to manage multiple projects and prioritiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to work with othersFlexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in an ever-changing, fast-paced environmentAbility to apply a high degree of tact and sensitivity to daily activitiesTolerance for ambiguityPreferred Qualifications:Three to five years of experience in development for higher education, athletics, or related fieldExperience working with senior members, clients, and stakeholders of an organizationDemonstrated successful work experience in a large and/or complex environmentA creative and entrepreneurial spiritTechnical literacy and comfort manipulating and analyzing complex dataAn understanding of Dartmouth’s advancement systemsDepartment Contact for Recruitment Inquiries:

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.Job Responsibilities:In partnership with the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development, establishes guidelines and processes for individualized stewardship planning.Works closely with Advancement field staff to build, monitor, and support tailored stewardship plans.Oversee the generation and delivery of acknowledgment letters to Friends donors.Manage the creation and distribution of the athletics department’s annual stewardship report.As needed, partners with the Assistant Director of Donor Communications & Events in the execution of athletics alumni communications.Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness through actions, interactions, and communications with others.
