Summary:The incumbent is responsible for consulting with all departments to help define reporting, develop analytic solutions and the delivery of intelligence strategies. The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will function as the BI analytic tool expert providing on-demand reporting and training to other users. This job position is compliance critical and responsibilities include ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate, and government regulatory requirements. It is the associate’s responsibility to observe all safety rules. Any condition thought to be hazardous or unsafe should be reported to your supervisor immediately.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Serves as the key resource for interpreting data and information; communicates results to team membersWorks closely with analytics project managers and operations to coordinate cross-functional project activities and ensures deliverables are accurate and meet customer requirementsUtilizes solution specific tools across all departments and functional areas providing detailed reporting and analysisAssesses analytics and reporting needs; provides recommendations for enhanced solutions and specifications for business intelligence toolsManages the delivery of tools and reports to internal and external customersEnsures reporting needs across process areas are prioritized to support deployment strategies and business needsEstablish protocols to extract data in a standardized process from a variety of data sourcesDefine and develop data management standards and processes to effectively manage data through the reporting life cyclePerforms data mining of customersDesign and develop prototypes and models for database, data integrations and data transformation needsMaintains and develops strong working relationships with business owners as a process advocateCreates speech and presentation materials for members of the management teamKeeps abreast of healthcare trends and competitor activityWhat your background should look like

Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, or computer science generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree programNormally requires a minimum of five (5) years direct progressively responsible experience with strong analytics and reporting experienceAbility to effectively manage and participate in cross-functional problem-solving teamsStrong knowledge of healthcare data in general and reimbursement dataStrong business planning, analytical and conceptual skills to evaluate business problems and identify and apply appropriate solutionsStrong business acumenExperience with business intelligence tools, capabilities, and best practices.Strong presentation skillsStrong project management skillsAbility to handle a variety of tasks simultaneouslyAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingExcellent judgment and decision-making skillsStrong interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills; attention to detailKnowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with advanced proficiency in Excel and AccessExperience with SQL and VBA with an understanding of data modeling and data managementWilling to work extended hours as requiredWhat Cencora offers
