Job Summary:The Clinical Epidemiology Division at the Barbara Davis Center (BDC) has a robust clinical research program designed to improve health conditions in adults living with Type 1 Diabetes. Research is conducted on health complications of type 1 diabetes, new advanced diabetes technology, outcomes related to use of technology, and the environmental factors that increase the risk of developing T1D. The successful candidate will actively participate in facilitating patient-oriented research projects conducted by BDC investigators. Clinical Science Professionals may also assist with epidemiologic and behavioral studies and/or outcomes research. This role includes a combination of clinical research duties (60%) and data management and analysis duties (40%).

Key Responsibilities:Recruit, interview, and enroll study participantsPerform study related processes, procedures, and assessmentsCollect blood and tissue samples, and process, aliquot and store samplesCollect and code data obtained from research.Manage data downloads, create database forms and processes, and ensure integrity of data collected.Perform basic statistical analyses under the direction of the Principal InvestigatorMaintain detailed records of studies to ensure regulatory and protocol compliance

Work Location:Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.

Anticipated Pay Range:The starting salary range for this position has been established as:Intermediate Level: $51,956 - $66,088Senior Level: $56,169 - $71,447The above salary range ( or hiring range ) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
