Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join our client's Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in civil litigation, specifically in casualty litigation and insurance practice areas. This role involves comprehensive support to the attorneys, ensuring efficient management of case details, and adherence to all court-related deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings
Manage electronic filings and ensure compliance with Washington state and federal court rules and procedures
Maintain and organize case files, documents, and evidence
Handle docketing and calendaring to meet all legal deadlines reliably
Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and reports as required
Provide exceptional client service and handle client communications with professionalism and discretion
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of experience in civil litigation
Proficient with Washington state and federal court rules and procedures.
Excellent secretarial skills including typing, transcribing, and editing of legal documents
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
High degree of professionalism and ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and familiarity with Net Docs is preferred
