Position SummaryThe MN Sales Consultant is responsible for driving sales at on-premise and off-premise accounts in an assigned geographic area. The individual will partner with Sales Leadership and Marketing to set priorities and execute the business plan for account development in their area of responsibility. They will work closely with wholesaler sales reps and managers. This position reports to the Head of Sales.

Primary Responsibilities:

Market Support and GrowthPlan and execute a daily schedule of calls, touchpoints, activations that align with and support the market objectivesBuild strong relationships over time with high-value accountsIdentify new business opportunities to increase revenue and distribution within territory. Work with distributor reps to plan approachEducate account staff on products by administering trainingEnsure maximum brand visibility and marketability within accounts by working with stores, accounts, and distributor to utilize effective display position and employ current point of sale materials when appropriateManage efforts to meet or exceed sales targets and stay within expense budgetRole is largely in-market, driving in Twin Cities metro and out-state communities to visit accounts and promote, build awareness and sales for Du Nord. Some days will start very early and other days may end late after tastings or eventsTastings and Event ActivationsSchedule and conduct consumer events at key retail and on-premise accountsHelp with training and coaching of part-time tasting staffCommunicate with accounts, sales reps, and Du Nord team to ensure successful tasting events and activationsIdentify key local events and raise opportunities with Marketing leadershipLeverage and build drinks industry knowledgeDevelop and grow your knowledge of our brand, market and industry to more effectively promote salesReport on issues related to the competitive market and offer constructive suggestions to Marketing and SalesAssist with development of recipes, drink concepts, and eventsCreate social media content (videos, photos) for Du Nord’s channelsCommunication and PlanningCommunicate and follow through on issues deemed important to management, our distributor, and accountsEffectively use sales reporting tools and CRM to understand market position, develop action plans and measure resultsEnsure all required documentation and communication is completed in an accurate and timely mannerSupport other territories as requested as Brand Ambassador, educator, content creatorOther duties as assignedQualifications:Excellent sales and customer service skillsExcellent verbal/written communication skillsStrong organization and time management skillsDetail and results-orientationBe a really nice personMust like to have fun2+ years sales experience preferredKnowledge of bartending or cocktail developmentMost work will happen 9-5, but this role does require regular availability weekend, evening, and occasional early mornings (to travel within state to accounts)Proficient use of office and sales technologies (creating documents, presentations, using spreadsheets and database tools, CRM tool)

Pay and Benefits:Full-timeLargely remote (in-market)Compensation Range $50-$65k, including base salary and bonus potentialDu Nord offers a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical and dental insurance with employer contribution, 401(k) with employer match, and any other benefits to eligible employees.
