Currently, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to join this exciting business and help deliver business goals.Job Description:
As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all material and hire requirements for the business. You will ensure cost control throughout the procurement process and manage delivery logistics to ensure timely and efficient project completion.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the procurement of all materials and equipment required for construction projectsManage hire requirements, ensuring the availability of necessary tools and machineryImplement and maintain cost control measures to optimize procurement budgetsCoordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and secure the best termsMonitor and manage delivery logistics to ensure timely and accurate deliveriesCollaborate with project managers and site teams to understand material needs and timelinesMaintain accurate records of procurement activities and inventory levelsIdentify and mitigate risks related to procurement and supply chainStay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve procurement processesQualifications:Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the construction industryStrong negotiation and communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesKnowledge of procurement software and toolsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentA supportive and collaborative work environmentThe chance to be part of exciting and impactful construction projectsIf you feel that you have the required experience and are keen to apply, please contact Adam Norris at Reed or apply now.
