Job Description

Position Summary:

Provide clerical and administrative support to the Site Administrator.

Essential Responsibilities:

Answer and/or transfer all incoming callsComplete all admit, discharge, and progress lettersProvide general information and directions to callers and guestsGreet all visitors in a courteous and professional mannerMaintain files for program quality management meetingsPerform various clerical duties, while utilizing knowledge of software systems and agency policy and proceduresDirect services including: technical support, aid staff in the coordination of office services, dissemination of mail to staff, clients, and other departments, logging of all incoming/outgoing mailEstablish and maintain an understanding of the various programs that operates within the facility and Salvation Army's continuum of care within communities servedCopies and faxes documentsProvide supply requisitions to Site Operations Supervisor and maintain inventory of all non-medical suppliesPerform clerical tasks; as assigned by Site AdministratorCoordinate activities; as assigned by Site AdministratorAddress minor issues not requiring the attention of the Site AdministratorCoordinate client transportationPerform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Must possess High School Diploma or equivalent, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilitiesSkills, Knowledge Abilities:

Must possess good time-management/organizational skillsMust possess the ability to work independentlyComputer Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, email, and internetExperience working with Electronic Medical Records preferredCertificates and Licenses:

Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as neededMust have and maintain a current valid chauffeur license and pass the Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR)
