Overview:
AV Staff members set up and operate the video, audio, and lighting equipment used to enhance live events. This is an on call as needed position.This role will pay an hourly wage of $10.00.For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.End Date 12/31/2024Responsibilities:Assist AV Supervisor in duties including, but not limited to:Maintain proper working conditions of the Audio/Video systems both digitally and physicallyMaintain inventory of equipmentProducing/Managing live event production/broadcastingSet up audio, video & lighting equipment for various complex events, shows and meetingsTroubleshoot and resolve A/V system problemsFix or send out equipment for repairs as neededManage accounts with services and vendorsReport all unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor; may educate and train venue staff in the safe and proper use of equipmentRespond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions, complaints and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfactionPerform other preventative maintenance duties as neededPromote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments and venue managersPerform job duties with minimal supervisionQualifications:
Experience wiring equipment racksExperience in Live Audio MixingExperience in Lighting ControlsExperience in video recording, mixing & broadcastingExperience in A/V installation, commissioning, and serviceExperience with Crestron control systemsKnowledge in common audio, video and lighting
