Overview:
The Marketing Assistant will assist with grassroot marketing efforts within the Mercer County region, updating in-house media assets, and brainstorming/curating content for social media platforms. The ideal candidate is someone with some prior experience working in sports, marketing, or hospitality. The role will work directly with the Director of Marketing and Marketing & Group Ticketing Coordinator to assist with upcoming show promotions at the CURE Arena & Patriots Theatre at the War Memorial.This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.13.For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.job expires 9/15/2024Responsibilities:Essential Duties & Responsibilities -Help create and distribute posters within the local Mercer County region to spread awareness about upcoming events and the venue(s).Content creation experience - create social reels and videos for venue platforms.Update static and digital marketing assets throughout the venue.Brainstorm artist gifting concepts.Additional marketing-related tasks as necessary.Qualifications:
Rising Junior or Senior student studying Marketing/Communications.Knowledge of editing softwares such as Canva and Photoshop.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent time management and organizational skills.High level of demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain sensitive information.Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
