The Role The Vendor Management Office (VMO) is within the Network, Engineering, Technology & Security (NETS) organization and collaborates with internal business partners to manage Lumen activities with software (SW) and services suppliers. In an ever-changing industry, we help our stakeholders navigate business relationships and contracts, maximize the value of our agreements, ensure that current and future business needs are met, mitigate business risks, and align with financial objectives. The VMO is currently hiring a Lead IT Software Asset Management Analyst who will partner on a $50-million-dollar-plus portfolio of SW entitlements (perpetual and subscription) to provide consistency with industry Software Asset Manager (SAM) best practices, maintain an effective corporate SW licensing position, and drive vendor-initiated audits. Work assignments will include many vendor products, including major IT industry vendors (e.g., IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce, SAP). Location This position is fully remote in the US. The Main Responsibilities + Developing and improving best practices for achieving SW Asset Management objectives; automating tasks to improve efficiency and mitigate risks, where appropriate; influencing others to adopt best practices. + Establishing internal processes to regularly measure and document SW license asset usage. + Leading complex data analysis and verification projects: ensure license compliance, help clients get the best value, and establish appropriate levels/ quantities for renewals. + Managing large and complex license audit To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
